Accuracy, and its limits
Every page is written from primary sources and dated. That is a real commitment and it is also the boundary of what can be promised.
Law changes. Statutes are amended, forms are revised, and appellate decisions shift what an earlier one meant. One provision described on this site is currently published with an effective-until date, and the page says so. A page accurate on its revision date may not be accurate on the day you read it. Check the date at the top, and check the current text of anything you intend to rely on.
Facts vary by property and by county. Virginia's counties fall into different zones on the federal termite infestation probability map, which is why a requirement can be real in one county and absent in the next. General descriptions cannot substitute for the specific answer about your address.
Prices are ranges, not quotes. Cost figures describe what is typical in Virginia. They are not offers and no one is bound by them.
If you find something wrong, write. Corrections are made and the revision date changes to record it.
